2. Posatex Otic Suspension contains anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties to treat otitis externa, which is inflammation in the ear canal due to yeast and bacteria. Dogs with floppy ears tend to more susceptible to otitis externa since there is a limited amount of air-flow to the ear which creates a moist dark environment where bacteria and yeast thrive. Posatex Otic Suspension works by combining a broad spectrum antibiotic called Orbifloxacin, a potent anti-inflammatory agent called Mometasone Furoate Monohydrate and Novel triazole, a antifungal new to animal health.

3. Shake well before use. Posatex Otic Suspension is applied into the ear canal for up to 7 days, unless told otherwise by veterinarian. Avoid getting it in the dog’s eyes, nose or mouth. For dogs less than 30 lbs, administer by instilling 4 drops into ear canal once-a-day for 7 days. For dogs above 30 lbs, administer by instilling 8 drops into ear canal once-a-day for 7 days. 

4. Not for use in humans. Keep out of reach in children. Do not administer orally. Discontinue use if hearing loss is observed.
