  2. How does GenOne work?

  3. How do I use GenOne properly?

  4. What should I be cautious of?

  5. What active ingredients are in GenOne?

ANSWERS:

  1. GenOne is a veterinarian-prescribed topical spray combining antibiotic and corticosteroid to treat infected, inflamed skin lesions in dogs.

  2. Gentamicin kills bacteria; betamethasone reduces inflammation and itching—together they resolve infections and provide comfort. Clean and dry the area, hold the spray 3–6 inches away, apply two sprays, and repeat 2–4 times daily for up to 7 days.

  3. Prescription only. Do not use past 7 days without reevaluation to avoid delayed wound healing and systemic steroid effects. Avoid use in pregnant dogs. Monitor for side effects like polyuria, polydipsia, or signs of Cushing’s.

  4. Each mL delivers gentamicin sulfate equivalent to 0.57 mg gentamicin and betamethasone valerate equivalent to 0.284 mg betamethasone.
