ANXITANE® (L-Theanine) Chewable Tablets by Virbac are designed to help promote relaxation and support calm behavior in medium and large dogs experiencing nervousness, anxiety, or environmentally induced stress. Formulated with L-Theanine (Suntheanine®), an amino acid naturally found in green tea, Anxitane helps dogs remain calm and relaxed without causing drowsiness or sedation.

These palatable, chicken-flavored chewable tablets can be used for everyday calming support or during stressful situations such as thunderstorms, travel, grooming, and changes in the home environment.

HOW IT WORKS

Anxitane contains L-Theanine (Suntheanine®), an amino acid naturally found in green tea leaves. It helps promote relaxation and support a calm, alert state without causing drowsiness or sedation. It can also be incorporated into a broader behavioral management program.

SIDE EFFECTS & CAUTIONS

Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been established. Not intended for animals with severe phobias, separation anxiety, or a known history of aggression.

If your dog’s condition worsens or does not improve after 60 days of use, discontinue administration and consult your veterinarian. Consult your veterinarian before use if your dog has existing health conditions or is taking other medications.

INSTRUCTIONS

Administer orally according to your dog’s weight and veterinary recommendations.

Long-Term Administration:

• Dogs weighing 22.1–55 lbs: Give ½ tablet twice daily.
• Dogs weighing over 55 lbs: Give 1 tablet twice daily.

Episodic Administration:

• Dogs weighing 22.1–55 lbs: Give ½ tablet 12 hours and 2 hours before the stressful event, then ½ tablet every 6 hours during the event.
• Dogs weighing over 55 lbs: Give 1 tablet 12 hours and 2 hours before the stressful event, then 1 tablet every 6 hours during the event.

Store in a dry place at room temperature. Keep tablets in their original packaging until use.
