2. Rimadyl works by reducing hormones that cause pain and inflammation in your dog’s body.

3. Rimadyl can be administered as a single full dose once a day or divided in half and given twice a day. It should be administered with food. For dogs of all weights, administer 2mg/lb of dog’s body weight once a day or 1mg/lb of dog’s body weight twice a day. 

4. Talk to your veterinarian or pharmacist before giving any other prescription or over-the-counter medications to your pet. Rimadyl should not be given to pregnant or lactating dogs or dogs used for breeding.
