WHAT IS TRAZODONE?
Trazodone is an antidepressant used in dogs and cats for the treatment of anxiety and/or behavioral problems. It can help calm pets during times of stress, such as loud noises from thunderstorms or fireworks, separation anxiety, travel, and also during periods of activity restriction following surgery. This product is sold per tablet and requires a prescription from your veterinarian.

INSTRUCTIONS

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Trazodone may be administered with or without food. If your pet vomits after administration, try giving the next dose with a small meal or treat. For dogs of all weights, administer by mouth. The average dose is approximately 3.5 mg/lb daily or as directed. For cats of all weights, administer by mouth. 50-100 mg total dose for short term use as often as your veterinarian prescribes.
